Readathon

Okay after a ton of delays I am attempting to blog.  I have never been a strong writer.  Never had the passion to write.  Love the romantic ideas of it.  Curled up with a journal, pouring your heart out (I have bought many journals, looking at you Moleskin). Yep love it so much I read them all the time, other peoples.  I instead tend to be a list maker.  Where some find comfort in pouring out their souls, I love list.  There I admitted it.

So this Saturday is a #readathon. And I have a list going of books to read.  I am very comfy doing this so to push myself a bit I am also going to do a bit of blogging.  Not sure if I I will publish it all yet though.

I lack a lot of confidence in my writing.  My hubby is a great writer and both he and my sister have been proof readers in my life.  I flash to thoughts of them sighing at my and bring out red pens, okay back to the readathon.

This Saturday I will be reading.  To join into the fun here is my list of intro and answers.
1) I am reading from NC.  I live with Sauratown Mtn in my back yard.  I am blessed to live where I do.
2) Hmmm. Not sure.  I am not well planned for today because I will be out for awhile helping with a fundraiser for our YMCA, selling underwear.  So just going to try a few books I have had in the stack for awhile.
3) Pecan pie muffins I made last night.  (Apparently I am more decisive about food than books today.)
4) I live at a camp.  Right in the middle of camp with my family.  So I have a beautiful natural setting for my house, Surrounded by lots of people having a good time.  Today we have about 130 adults in for the weekend having a retreat.  They wake everyone (including me) up at 6:30 driving around camp with a horn and triangle.  There are wonderful and tough parts to living at a camp.  I am cool with it.
5) I did participate last year.  With no blog.  So here we go.

Okay I am off to read.  Enjoy the day.
